The Therapy
The Method is a focused, holistic, motor sensory programme, which is suitable for adults and children. It is built around weekly sessions with the practitioner of 50 minutes to one-hour duration. As well as advancing the programme, the weekly contact allows a good working relationship to develop between the client and the practitioner. The work, based on movement, is enjoyable and continually builds on the ongoing achievements of the client.

Usually a complete programme will take up to 20 sessions. This can vary depending on the severity and nature of the difficulties to be overcome. The practitioner will discuss the likely duration with you, before undertaking the programme.

An important part of the therapy is a very simple exercise that needs to be undertaken at home every day. This takes no longer than 25 minutes to complete. With a little organizational help from parents, children will soon take the responsibility for themselves.

Testimonial
" The problem I had with sequencing numbers (which in the past had prevented me from even dialling phone numbers correctly) has improved beyond belief. I now have the clearness of mind to perceive a list of numbers in the order that they are written. Raviv taught me to think calmly and clearly- and the blind panic I used to suffer when faced with a list of numbers has disappeared! "

Practitioner Jackie Brett Cardiff.

"When my son began his Raviv sessions as well as being very uncoordinated he was having difficulties with all aspects of schoolwork. His reading was not very advanced and writing was a task for him. He was losing his confidence and had begun hating school. At the age of seven and a half he could not ride a bike. Now just 8 months later his reading is much more advanced and although he is still not great at writing he now has the confidence to try and to practice. It also took him just two days to learn to ride his bike."
